Little Mermaid is an 11 Metre Corvette Bullet boat, powered by an Iveco 600Hp engine, new to St Ives in 2022. At the helm, is skipper Ian Hodgkinson, born and bred in St Ives. Ian has been operating boat trips from St Ives, for many years and is now ably assisted by his son Ben. All boat trips are narrated by Ian and Ben, both knowledgeable about the local area and the wildlife found in the Atlantic ocean.

Skipper

Ian and his son Ben are the main crew members on our boat trips from St Ives. Ian is often known as Captain Biscuit, because of his generous distribution of biscuits on the voyage. Born and raised in St Ives, both Ian and Ben have a good knowledge of the waters around St Ives.
